Becoming a Certified Sexologist/Sexology Educator
Upon completing Level 3 and fulfilling the required supervised hours, participants will qualify for certification as either a Certified Sexologist or a Certified Sexology Educator through Unprude.
This level is designed to help participants move beyond theory and group facilitation into practical, guided client work. Under the mentorship of experienced sex therapists and educators, they will refine their skills in assessment, intervention, and ethical practice, ensuring they are well-equipped to make a meaningful impact in the field of sexology.
- Being a Certified Sexologist means having the expertise to work directly with individuals and couples, addressing concerns related to sexual health, intimacy, and relationships through evidence-based approaches. Sexologists provide professional guidance while maintaining ethical and professional boundaries.
- Being a Certified Sexology Educator means developing and delivering sex education programs, facilitating discussions, and promoting awareness on various aspects of sexuality. Educators focus on challenging misconceptions and advocating for inclusive, research-based sex education in academic, healthcare, or community settings.
As Sexologists and/or Sexology Educators, graduates will gain the knowledge, confidence, and ethical grounding to support individuals and communities in exploring sexuality in a professional, non-clinical capacity.
This certification does not grant licensure as a therapist, counselor, or medical professional. Instead, it equips individuals with the specialized skills needed to educate, guide, and support others in matters of sexuality while adhering to ethical and professional standards.
